WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME AN EDUCATOR?
I love helping other stylists grow. And I know that once someone broke down the science and explained to me the color line it all clicked and made more sense. And I want to be able to help other stylists understand color and the impact it has on people.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SALON!
I am in a smaller salon in a small town. We carry Alfaparf for color and care as well as Eminence Organics for skin care. It’s a small 3 chair salon and we have a very relaxed and laid-back home vibe.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR BEST PRACTICES FOR RETAILING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS?
I love giving out samples of shampoo and conditioner/masks. As well as really asking the clients what their hair needs are. I tailor their care and styling regimen based on what they tell me their needs are. I also make sure not to overload them with products and try and keep their regimen simple, so they don’t get overwhelmed.
ANY HOBBIES? OR ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF DOING HAIR?
I love doing crafting activities with my children as well as reading and working out!

FAVORITE CLASS TO TEACH AND WHY
Officina Del Colore (ODC). I love how in depth this program is with our color lines. And I love being able to help people understand the differences as well as what item to use for different scenarios! I love teaching the basics of this class because I believe that once you understand the basics and the technical information, you can truly become creative and push the limit.
FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOUR BRAND'S EDUCATION?
I love that we offer free Zoom classes for any stylist! I love that we do that because it’s a great introduction to the brand and gives a lot of useful information. And I love that we are incredibly inclusive with stylists and education alike!
IF YOU COULD GROW UP IN ANY DECADE, WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
I would love to have grown up in the 70’s. It’s such a cool decade with clothing, hair, and music.
